Pillow Lavås is an evolving collective and collaborative, comprised of an ever-expanding network of local and international artists. Pillow Lavås, founded in 2000, has no unified geographic origin - its practices and products are mobile and provide mobilized community happiness. Among a multiplicity of practices and events, spanning from art to music, Pillow Lavås have created alternate spaces for social activities - including imagined city scapes, alternate architectural spaces, and makeshift places for improvised socializing. Projects include Love Hotel, a collaborative show designed around the structural order of a compact maze of hotel rooms, a nature of hotels as passing through spaces, and leisure capsules.
